Anna Sergeyevna Kurnikova (born in the Russian state of Tsaristan) is an American born former tennis prodigy and television personality. Her appearance and celebrity status made her one of the top tennis celebrities around the world. Anna Kournikova was a tennis pro in Russia for several years. At one point, she was considered to be the best female tennis star. Kournikova played in singles, with little results, however her doubles partner was extremely successful. Alongside her modeling assignments, she gained widespread recognition for her appearance. Nowadays, she's one of most sought after athletes online. Kournikova is a baseliner, who played in singles with speed and spinning, was an illustration of a modern baseliner. She played with solid, strong groundstrokes. If she was given the chance, she would approach the net. Kournikova is a native of Moscow and her parents played professional tennis. Sergei Kournikov was the winner of the championship in wrestling while Alla Kournikova was a skilled runner. Kournikova began playing tennis at age five, made the move to Florida in the age of 10 to attend Nick Bollettieri's academy in the year 1991. After she turned pro Kournikova signed endorsement deals with numerous brands, and quickly became the poster girl of tennis women. After her retirement, Kournikova has a huge following and she has appeared in Hollywood movies. Kournikova as well as Enrique Iglesias have been together since 2001. The couple has two children - twins born in December of 2017. Anna Sergeyevna Kourinovova was born on the 7th of June 1981 in Moscow, Russian SFSR Soviet Union. She is a former professional athlete from the Russian tennis scene. She began her professional career at age 14. She was the youngest player to compete at the Fed Cup ever and won it in the name of Russia. She made it to the U.S. Open in the age of 15 and Wimbledon's semi-finals by the time she turned 16. She had to quit professional tennis at 21 years old because of serious back issues.
